New Fall Outings with F.A.S.T.

Check back frequently for our all new and exciting outings that F.A.S.T. Personal Training will be offering starting this fall going into the winter months.  All events will be Free of charge.  So when you find something that sounds of interest to you, tell your family and friends to come out and join you in hours of fun and excitement. Events will range from recess, to how to shop at the grocery store trip, to rock climbing, trail running, mountain biking, and the list goes on.  Those are just a few activities that FAST will be sponsoring over the next several months to help keep our town, your community a more fit place to live.

The first outing that will be kicked off is recess. Yes, you read correctly recess.  This will be an outing for all ages.  Reminisce on the playground activities you did as a child while also learning some new-school playground activities that our children of today do.  You dont even have to have children to come out to this one.  Just come!  More details will follow with dates and time and location. 

To participate in one, two or even all the activities, you only need to RSVP so we can make sure all participants can be accommodated and most importantly, that everyone is safe.

These new outings will generally be offered one to two times per month starting in October going through December. So start telling everyone that you know, recess will be in effect come October.  I hope to see you all there.

 

Alyssa Brouse

Alyssa Brouse: "After years of trying my own diets and "strict" nutrition plans (even marathon training!), I was at the end of my rope. Jill gave me a new plan that was so effective, I dropped a dress size in the first couple weeks. Her workout program has helped me get into the best shape of my life. I started as a size 12 and after losing 25lbs am now a size 6. Her advice does work and I love my new routine. Thanks Jill!"

In April Alyssa reported: "Cherry Blossom (10-Miler) complete! 1:36, which is 9:41 pace. Best time ever!!!" Then in May, Alyss completed the Frederick Half-Marathon in 2:04, 26 minutes faster than her previous best.

Cardio fit class

Lyric

Lyric has been training for the past 12 weeks with Jill, and has lost 26 pounds and has gone from a size 14 to a size 8 since she started in November 2007, despite occasionally missing training due to snow in the winter. Pictures to follow soon!

Renita

Renita was training with Jeremy for approximately one year. During her time of training, Renita lost a tremendous amount of body fat and stopped taking blood pressure medication. On two separate visits to the doctor, Renita's physician lowered her diabetes medication to a very minimal dosage. She has greatly appreciated the time that she spent with Jeremy, and is sad that she is moving out of state. Says Renita, "Everything is going well and I have met some of my goals. I am taking less medications. I just went to the doctor yesterday and she was very happy about my progress. She stated that I am too healthy to have to come see her every 3 months, so she switch me to every 6 months. She is very happy with my progress!"

Natasha

With Jill's help, Natasha lost 26 overall pounds, lost 18% body fat, lost 47 pounds of fat, and gained 21 pounds of metabolism-boosting muscle. Natasha also completed her first half-marathon, which was one of the biggest achievements in her life.  View Natasha's after photos.

Lynne J.

Since working with Jill, Lynne J. has made tremendous progress! Lynne works out with Jill twice-a-week, and even joins in on Jill's personal workouts. An active adult and avid athlete, Lynne, a wife and mother of three, takes her fitness to the softball field and bowls, staying active seven days-a-week. Overall Lynne has lost over 50 lbs, went from a size 18 to a size 6, and reduced her body fat by over 20%. Her nutrition plan has contributed to the bulk of her success.  View Lynne's progress

Weekly Social Run

Road Runner Sports is currently hosting a weekly social run. The distance will be an easy 3-5 miles and beginners are encouraged. The runs take place on Thursdays, beginning December 6th, at 6:00 p.m., and will originate in front of the store’s location (6630-C Marie Curie Dr., Elkridge, MD 21075).
